Tom is an editorial and commercial photographer best known for architecture and food photography. He has been published in The Michelin Guides of New York and Washington, DC., Condé Nast Traveler, SELF and Fitness magazines, and his product photography can be seen on packaging sold around the world and in stores like Target and Williams-Sonoma. Tom is a frequent contributor to Edible Jersey, PA and NJ Meetings + Events Magazine, Bucks Life, Mainline Magazine and numerous university alumni publications. He is also the photographer for "The Jersey Shore Cookbook: Fresh Summer Flavors from The Boardwalk and Beyond," which is sold at Barnes & Noble, Costco, and Amazon.
Before moving to the east coast, Tom began his photography career in Austin, Texas where he studied portraiture and architectural photography at the renowned Austin Community College’s Photographic Technology Department. While in school, he began shooting commercial assignments, weddings and portraits, and selling prints of landscapes and architectural details at central Texas art festivals. After moving to Philadelphia, it was WXPN that first noticed Tom’s artwork and called one of his First Friday showcases a “must see.”
Tom was recently voted a "Top Pick" in Princeton's Town Topics Awards and is proud to have been awarded the BEST OF LINKEDIN PROFINDER for his portrait and headshot work. Previously Tom was voted one of the TOP 10 BEST WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS in Philadelphia and was a "BEST OF" on Wedding Wire for a number of years as well. Commercially Tom has won a BEST OF HOUZZ Service Award, and his images have helped win many BEST OF HOUZZ, CHRYSALIS AWARDS for Remodeling Excellence and CoTY Awards for his clients as well.
Tom lives just outside of Princeton where he teaches digital photography at The Hun School part time. His beautiful wife Heather and their son Weston enjoy hiking, cooking, travel and volunteering at their local food bank. Tom is also honored to be associated with Big Brothers Big Sisters, The Foundation Fighting Blindness and the Cancer Support Community of Philadelphia, each of which have missions dear to his heart.
